The welcome ceremony for the freshmen in 2021-2022 academic year of ICCS was held at Room 907-1319 in the morning of October 15. Researcher Xu Xiaoping, vice director of CCCEMS and ICCS, attended the ceremony, delivered a welcome speech, and also extended a warm welcome to these freshmen. Additionally, he also briefed the discipline direction, scientific research platform, scientific research achievements and talent training of  CCCEMS. 

Professor Tang Kangjian,  vice director of ICCS, was present at the meeting and gave an in-depth introduction on the development direction, teaching staff, scientific research teams and experimental facilities of the center. 

Professor Wang Jiong and Professor Zhang Wei, new teachers of the center, also delivered speech in succession, introducing their scientific research direction in length and sharing their experience with the students. 

Finally, researcher Xu Xiaoping gave a conclusion to the ceremony as well as his ardent expectations and good wishes for upcoming scientific research life of all the students. Zheng Shihui, Niu Qingxin, the aboratory technician of the center, Gu Weiqing, the executive secretary, and graduate students in all grades were also in attendance at the welcome ceremony.
